We recommend staying in or around any of these areas (hotel/Air BnB): Plaza de España (near to Royal Palace), Gran Via (high-street fashion district), Malasaña (hip, trendy neighbourhood), Plaza Mayor (main square in the heart of Madrid), La Latina (narrow lanes filled with tapas bars), Barrio de Salamanca (chic and glamorous), Chamberí (cool foodie neighbourhood), and Barrio de las Letras (bohemian and artistic).
The Dear Hotel in Plaza de España is very well located and has offered a discount code (TOPSALE)
